We have arrived in Sydney....our final destination in Australia. We are staying here three nights before jetting off to New Zealand. We were treated to fireworks over Darling Harbor on our first night in the city. They were amazing! There are so many shops, restaurants, and street performers all over the harbor.
Everything is so modern and water complements the city in so many ways (pools, waterfalls, fountains, city streams). This has got to be one of best cities we've ever visited......we love it!
Our first morning in Sydney, we departed the hotel for the Sydney Opera House. We had a one hour tour scheduled to see this architectural work of art. It was quite impressive....most of our group purchased tickets to see a concert tomorrow evening.....but we were satisfied with just the tour.
