A Lesson With The Didgeridoo

One of the things we wanted to try in Australia was learning how to play a didgeridoo.  These long instruments are popular in the Outback....and while in Alice Springs we had the opportunity to get a free 30-minute lesson.  Our instructor was "internationally acclaimed" didgeridoo player Andrew Langford (whoop-dee-do!).

We were introduced to making basic sounds, breathing techniques, rhythms, and the history of this instrument.  You simply pucker your lips and blow!  It's sounds easier than it is!  We were blowing but not producing anything you'd like to listen to!  I'll stick to Guitar Hero when I get home.
